This program brings together leading basic and translational epilepsy partners focusing on the ECM, and a strong industrial participation focusing on treatments and brain delivery.

 

The partners are experts in highly complementary fields. The partners are ideally placed to determine the basic an translational potential of modifications to the ECM in the treatment of epilepsy.

The academic partners will focus on specific research questions, whilst the industrial members will provide potential treatments and advanced research tools.

 

The project has a strong translational theme and the combination of basic and translational science will be of great benefit for the training of young researchers.
